What does the ServiceCall Service Fusion integration do?
Last updated:
The ServiceCall Service Fusion integration runs a Max Qualifier property report on every Service Fusion job as booked — permit history, HVAC, roof and water-heater age, hail history, ownership tenure — and delivers the Gold, Silver or Bronze result to your ServiceCall portal, since Service Fusion accepts no write-back. Techs and CSRs see the house before the call; nothing is re-keyed.
What shows up in Service Fusion
We check Service Fusion every 5 minutes for jobs that have been added or updated. Service Fusion's API is read-only for our purposes, so the results appear in your ServiceCall portal rather than on the job.
- Inside Service Fusion: nothing. Service Fusion's API does not let a partner write notes, tags or fields.
- In the ServiceCall portal: CRM Browse, one list of every Service Fusion job we have processed with the customer name, address, scheduled date, Gold / Silver / Bronze band and a link to the full report. Sorted and searchable.
- Because nothing lands in Service Fusion, the reports are visible only to people with a ServiceCall portal login. Some shops choose Service Fusion delivery for exactly that reason.
- Service Fusion gives us a contact name but no email or phone, so the homeowner match has less to work with; expect a few more "Insufficient Data" results than on other CRMs.
How to connect Service Fusion
- Confirm you are on the Service Fusion Pro plan, which includes developer access.
- Create an OAuth Consumer in Service Fusion (My Office → Developer Settings → OAuth Consumer) and paste the Client ID and Secret into ServiceCall. The connection is instant.
- Give the people who need the reports a ServiceCall portal login and show them CRM Browse. Size any back-fill against your credit balance before starting it.
Two rules hold on every CRM: one credit per enriched job, never twice for the same property in a billing period, and a failed address match costs nothing. Disconnecting leaves everything already written in your CRM in place.
Who it's for
HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops on Service Fusion Pro, particularly office-led teams that want the scores in the office and nothing in the field.
What you control: Private by default. Nothing is written into Service Fusion, so who sees a report is decided entirely by who has a ServiceCall portal login.
Whatever your CRM does with the write-back, every scored job also appears on the CRM Browse page of your ServiceCall portal: one list, every job, with its band and report link.
Frequently asked questions
Does it write back to Service Fusion?
No. Service Fusion's API is read-only for partners. Every job is still scored, and the results live on the CRM Browse page of your ServiceCall portal.
Which Service Fusion plan do I need?
The Service Fusion Pro plan. Service Fusion has no partner app, so each account creates its own OAuth Consumer, and that requires Pro.
Can I limit who sees the reports?
Yes, completely. Nothing lands in Service Fusion, so only people with a ServiceCall portal login can open a report.
