Integration

What does the ServiceCall Workiz integration do?

Last updated:

The ServiceCall Workiz integration runs a Max Qualifier property report on every Workiz job as booked — permit history, HVAC, roof and water-heater age, hail history, ownership tenure — and delivers the Gold, Silver or Bronze result as a line in the job notes and on the client. Techs and CSRs see the house before the call; nothing is re-keyed.

What shows up in Workiz

We check Workiz every 60 seconds for jobs created in the last two days, so the note is on the job within about a minute of booking.

  • One line appended to the job's Notes: the Gold / Silver / Bronze band, income level, credit level and a link to the full Max Qualifier report.
  • The same line on the client record the first time we see that client (a toggle, on by default; written once per client).
  • No tags, no custom fields, no PDF and nothing in the job description: Workiz delivery is the note.
  • A repeat visit to the same property within 30 days replays the note onto the new job at no charge.

How to connect Workiz

  1. Enable the Developer API add-on on your Workiz account.
  2. Copy the API token and secret from Workiz (Settings → Integrations → API) and paste both into ServiceCall. Every write-back needs the secret, so check the note appears on a recent job.
  3. Set a job-type filter if you want one (include or exclude, by name) and decide whether the client note stays on. Optionally back-fill up to 90 days.

Two rules hold on every CRM: one credit per enriched job, never twice for the same property in a billing period, and a failed address match costs nothing. Disconnecting leaves everything already written in your CRM in place.

Who it's for

HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops on Workiz that want a fast, simple note on every job without changing their workflow.

What you control: A job-type filter decides which jobs get a report. One switch, "enrich the linked client record", keeps the note on the job only when it is off.

Whatever your CRM does with the write-back, every scored job also appears on the CRM Browse page of your ServiceCall portal: one list, every job, with its band and report link.

Frequently asked questions

Does it write back to Workiz?

Yes. One line of text in the job's Notes, and the same line on the client record if that toggle is on. No tags, fields or PDF.

Which Workiz plan do I need?

Any Workiz plan with the Developer API add-on enabled. The add-on is what issues the API token and secret the integration uses.

Can I limit who sees the reports?

Partly. Turn off the client-record switch and the note stays on the individual job; your Workiz roles decide who can read job notes.
